Update

So the choice has been made. An M3 will be parked in the driveway in the next couple of months hopefully. That is the plan and I've been sticking to it. NOW ITS TIME TO GET IT DONE.

Why its not an achievement

I'm the kind of kid that has dreamed of only the best things in life. I always see videos of people 22+ that are buying Lamborghinis and other high end cars. That is what I want and thats why I feel as though right now I'm just stuck until something clicks. I want success just like anyone else but success in my eyes is higher then most peoples. Most people want a nice house, kids, and a love one. Me? Oh I want that, but I want my soulmate, kids, and a house that I can say, "yeah thats MY house!". My vision of success is being able to support my family generations after I am gone.

Success is everything to me.

The Dream

After a couple of months going back and worth which car I want to get I have finally made up my mind. The end decision is that before summer 2013 I will be financing an 08-09 BMW M3. Its my dream car and I just cant wait any longer. Its a tough decision for anyone to sit down and say I want a new car especially when the car they currently own is in great shape and is something that is an achievement at my young age. But to me, Its not.

A find worth a look

So as I searched the normal car sites I found an 07 manual at a local (hour away) Audi dealership. I found it right after they posted it. No photos yet. The mileage is 61,009 and the price tag.... $17999. I was shocked and was like, "got to check this one out!." So I did and they were openly honest about why the car was priced so low. They got it in an auto auction that said it had unibody damage. That's a big red flag normally. But they then stated they did a full check and the car is fine, no issues. CarFax or AutoCheck don't even show it. So I emailed not too long ago and I will hopefully hear back from them in the morning.

Dealerships v2

So today while I was sitting around, I hopped onto the tri-state E90 Facebook group. I made a post asking how lived in Great Neck, Ny. I got numerous responses and they all asked why. So, I told them.. "The car I'm looking at buying is at Luxury Autos of Great Neck." Within 2 minutes I had 10+ comments telling me they are scam artists and that the cars they sale are all wash titles. Some had personal experience with the dealer and said they were slimy jerks. So that all being said the search restarted of course.... Like it ever stopped lol.

Dealerships

They suck. They over charge for all their cars. I look everyday to see if I can find one with a deal price then the black one I'm set on. Today I went on CarMax and found one that has more miles and is an 07, but it is fully loaded. They are charging the same price as the 08 I'm 95% sure ill buy. It's ridiculous! An they say they give fair prices and have "no-haggle" prices. It's such BS. Two cars above that one is the same car with 13000 less miles for the same price.

CarMax: I call straight BS! Your prices are sh*t!!

The choice has been made

I have finally picked the one that I will go after. I have the final number of the amount owed on top of my trade in.

The black on black manual will be mine in the coming weeks. A few things to take care of first then it's off the NY to get the car and bring it home to Jersey.
